PHR and Online Medical Records....

What is the state of Digital HealthCare in USA? We the People will have to facilitate a transformation, and the Gov will be a player in any type of National Health Care. I am anxious to see how the Political landscape turns out with Hilary in the mix. She was 'chair' of a Nat'l effort when husband Bill had the Oval Office. I will be digging up some more information and posting this in further entries. The European models and Candian Health Care systems have Pros & Cons of which we can discuss also... till then...

Let me know your thoughts on this topic and thanks for stopping in!

I think why let the govt get their hands on more of our money? A national healthcare system, is a socialist system. I don't want to be a part of a socialist society. Furthermore any progam the gov has decided to socialize such as social security and welfare have all been miserable failures.

I believe that we still are a country in which freedom of choice is a right. A right in which we protect and fight for.
Having the gov't tell us where and who will be taking care of us and our loved ones is an infridgment of that right.
If they feel that the health ins. companies are making to much of a profit--take it up with them. Allow the Dr. to take the right test the first time instead of going through a series of tests before they get to the one they need because ins. won't cover them unit you have the 3-4 tests before them.
Let's take care of the real dictators before taking patients rights to choose away

I know our system isn't perfect but I like the fact that we can still choose, and if we don't have the means then the government steps in and helps out.

I would hate to see the government get into health care. I see the big failures of the govt in Social Security and Education(check the tax you pay on your house and you'll know that after a private school fee, you'll have spare change). No one wants to fix those issues. They want to create another mammoth issue for later generations to deal with. Killing competition is going to kill the advancement we have made and demotivate growth.
